A good steady 6 miler yesterday (39 mins) followed by an hour of core training in the evening.
Unable to run today, but will do some core work tonight.

Very quiet in here . . .

Interval training on Friday - hard work but good!

Reduced this weekends run to10.5 miles so that I could do an extra circuit of the Ickworth Trim Trail.

Out for a 5/6 miler tomorrow - training my sister-in-law for the Great North Run

A bit of core training to start the day off on Sunday, followed by a 5 miler with Sis-in-law which went really well - I didn't make it easy for Kel and threw in a couple of hills - Furthest and longest she's ever run  - Proud of her!

6 miler lunch time run on the cards for today. Hoping to to do some core training tonight too, but got to colour the wifes hair first . . . man of many talents (but keep this one quiet).

Steady 6 miler completed on Monday, and an interval 6 miler (3 mins @ 80% 1 min Steady) ran yesterday.

Also did some core training last night with the usual exercises (x3 sets of 30): Press ups, sit-ups, lateral raises, chest, curls, reverse curls, etc.

Resting the legs today, but will put in some more core training tonight.

The first event that I'm training for 'Hell Rider' is rapidly approaching, with only 10 weeks to go, but training certainly won't stop there.

Well I've raised £95 so far, so thank to all those who have given either words of support or made a donation towards the childrens support groups - much appreciated. Please, please help where you can as I'm still way off my target and remember I'm doing this for children with alopecia - such a tough thing to cope with at such a young age.

You can also donate by sending a just giving text:

Just type in RAVE73, followed by the amount that you wish to donate (e.g. £1) and send it to 70070

Thanks
Dave.

As promised, more core training last night, but swopped the lighter weights that I use for high reps for heavier weights - still put in a fair few reps.

Back out on  the 6m circuit at lunch today.

I plan to run 10m with the 11 station exercise course incorporated tomorrow morning. I'll be doing the exercise course twice, same as last saturday. My camcorder will be accompanying me on this run, so that I can give people a better idea of what I'm up to.

Have a great weekend all!
Dave.

Heavy weights in core training last night - resting the legs today, slight knee niggle concerning me at the minute, not impressed!!! I will push on regardless!

Have a good day all!
