Minoxidil - Anyone had any experience?

Has anyone tried Minoxidil for AA? Is there any kind of positive result with this? I heard hair can start to drop off when quitting the cure while others says its not the case if you got AA its just if you have Androgena Alopecia? Thats what a skin therapist told me at least.

Some websites says it only helps about 30% of all people taking it and could be used as a bridge until the real hair starts to grow from AA. But it also mostly helps people with patchy AA.

Anyone had any experience of this to share?
