Hi to any reader

Hope someone can help me.  I was diagnosed with Androgenetic alopecia a few years ago now.  I'm now nearly 46 years old and have decided enough is enough.  I'm thoroughly fed up with fibres - serums - head scarves ... and seeing my shiny bloomin' scalp when looking in a mirror!!

I need to take the plunge and get on with my life.  I've been thinking of a topper - as I still have hair (albeit very thin and fine) which I could maybe clip onto??  I am totally unsure where to start - I live in Powys - but don't mind travelling to find the right piece.

Would anyone be able to recommend where to start?  Any pointers would be so appreciated.

Many thanks xx

I'd have a look at www.beautifulbetsy.co.uk as a start - Paula can advise from personal experience, and has lots of useful information. I have a Gorgeous Strandz topper, which is the brand she deals with, and can say that it was abso, uteky transfirmative. I saw some regrowth on my head this morning, and was actually very disappointed .... I love my topper so much better than my own hair!

The great thing about toppers is that they save so much time ... you can have great hair every day in a few seconds, and there's bo need to faff about with your own - including touching up grey roots! Saves a fortune! 😀

Thanks so much for your reply Smile  Just had a look at the website.  Did you have very fine hair before you purchased your topper - I'm just abit worried about going from thin and straggly to a full head of hair.  Also my hair is currently in a chin length bob - do you think the betsy would look natural if cut shorter?  Thanks again so much for sharing - I find it so comforting that there are others out there that have found a solution and are getting on with life.  Its easy to let it take over your life ...... (last 10 years for me Angry). xx
