Alopecia UK is run by a small, passionate team (currently two full time and one part time employees).
Alopecia UK has a governing board of 8 trustees. It is the responsibility of the trustees to ensure that the charity works within its trust deed. The charity also has an advisory panel made up of experts who provide us with advice when needed and ensure that the material written is accurate.
Alopecia UK has been volunteer-led for the first 10 years and our committed volunteers have worked so hard to keep the charity going. It was in 2014 that the charity reached a point of having a more dedicated resource in place.
