Alopecia ResearchAlopecia areata is an autoimmune disorder. There is a lot of research carried out in relation to alopecia, its causes and treatment. At the moment there are no good well-controlled studies which show that any medical treatment is effective. There are, however, studies being carried out regularly which are examining the various forms of therapy available. The purpose of these pages is to introduce you to some of that research, and provide you with the resources to carry out searches for yourself. |
