What are your Christmas wishes? And can you help Alopecia UK to make them come true?
This Christmas we'd like to know what your wishes are and ask if you can help Alopecia UK to make some of them come true by donating to our Christmas Appeal.
We're sharing images and wishes on our Facebook and Twitter pages and asking people to make a donation to Alopecia UK this Christmas time. Many of the wishes relate to alopecia or the charity itself and we are hoping to receive donations to help grant some of these wishes.
Charity Manager Jen says: "My favourite quote of all time is “Be the change you wish to see in the world”. It’s important that those affected by alopecia not only acknowledge the things they would like to see change, but also to realise their own potential for making those changes happen. We hope that through supporting Alopecia UK and donating, people recognise that they are supporting an organisation that is working hard to improve the lives of those affected by alopecia. By donating to the charity they are helping that happen. An underlying ethos of the charity is that it is about community and community working together to help each other. Its time to stand up and be counted and we hope that the Christmas Wish appeal will do exactly that".
The easiest way is toText WISH03 £5 to 70070to donate £5 to Alopecia UK (or change the 5 to a value of your choosing). Alternatively you can also donate online viaJustgiving.
We hope that you have been happy with the work of the charity in 2014. Perhaps we have helped you over the last 12 months by providing you with support. Maybe we have inspired you in some way or you might have attended one of our events or support groups. We would very much like to continue and also improve the work of the charity in 2015 and your donation will help us do this. We would greatly appreciate anything you could donate to us this Christmas. Consider it an extra present to add to your shopping list but one you don't need to fit under the tree!
We would like to say thanks to everyone who has supported us in 2014 and we hope you will stick with us in 2015 - we have lots more planned!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from everyone at Alopecia UK.
