Would you like your story to help others?

16th August 2006

Since it was revealed Gail Porter had alopecia last year, newspapers, magazines and TV documentaries have been telling the stories of people with the condition.
There is no doubt the publicity is helping others who are suffering as well as making more people aware of alopecia.

We’re regularly contacted by journalists asking for your stories. If you have an interesting story to tell, whether it's about yourself, a friend or member of your family then Jenny Round would like to hear it. Jenny is a member of the site, has Alopecia Universalis and is a reporter for a newspaper in Kent. She’ll be working with us to increase publicity about alopecia.

So whether it's a fundraising event like a sponsored head shave or parachute jump, or a story about how you’re dealing with your hair loss, what made it grow back or even the day it fell out, and you’re willing to share it with others, Jenny would love to hear from you.

Contact her at: jenny.round@alopeciaonline.org.uk or call 07920 426199 after 5pm.
