UK Dermatology Clinical Trials Network Themed Research Call 2016

11th February 2016

Do you have a research idea for a clinical trial in the field of Hair and Nail disorders?

The UK Dermatology Clinical Trials Network (UK DCTN) has launched a themed research call with an associated development fund of 10,000 for the best research suggestion that will eventually lead to a randomised controlled clinical trial (RCT) in the area or will provide information to inform the design of such a study.

The topic for the 2016 call is Hair and Nail Disorders.

Application is UK DCTN's application form (available from their website www.ukdctn.org). You will need to provide an outline plan of how you propose to spend such funds with your application and any work should have the potential to lead to an RCT or inform the design of such a study.

Before submitting your application, we recommend that you approach a Methodologist or Clinical Trials Unit that has previous experience in clinical trials and that you have also considered collaborating with the relevant patient groups wherever possible.

The closing date for applications is 24th June 2016. For further information please contact the UK DCTN Trial Development Manager Shelley Dowey shelley.dowey@nottingham.ac.uk or 0115 846 8622.
