My Life as a Bald Soprano is a musical play in three acts exploring one young girlís journey towards self-acceptance. At a time when her peers are identifying their female role models, Margaret is faced with an unusual hair loss condition threatening to rob her of her childhood innocence. In her life quest for answers, she confronts a culture poisoned by an obsession with physical appearances and "the beauty norm". Struggling to fit in, Margaret turns to music undergoing a series of transformations before ultimately learning that the greatest acceptance comes from within.
Margaretís journey towards self acceptance forces her to dig into her roots, introducing her to the concert pianist who becomes her greatest role model. My Life as a Bald Soprano tells of one indomitable human spirit and her will to succeed no matter what odds others may have stacked against her.
