Alopecia in the news

23rd July 2009

Inspiring teenager Jade Finn features in The Guardian on Thursday 23rd July talking about her experiences of living with alopecia in the regular column 'Private Lives'.

Jade started losing her hair four months before her sixth birthday. She talks about the treatments she’s tried, the sad instances of bullying she experienced as a teenager and the resulting counselling that was a turning point for her.

Jade is now planning to become a hairdresser, as she says,
