Alopecia Scarecrows

19th September 2013

Amy Johnson continued her alopecia awareness at the annual Baildon Scarecrow Walk. This year's theme was simply 'famous people' so she made three scarecrows of celebrities with alopecia.

The first of her 'alopecia celebrity' scarecrows was Olympic champion swimmer, Duncan Goodhew (complete with rubber ducks in his pool!).

The next alopecia awareness scarecrow was another Olympic champ, Joanna Rowsell. I'm not sure what the real Joanna would think about the rusty bike Amy put her on!

The final alopecia awareness scarecrow to share was the comedian Matt Lucas. Amy had a great time talking to people about alopecia including meeting both adults and children with the condition, as well as, speaking to many more about it too.

Job well done Amy, and it is great to see such a fun way to raise awareness of alopecia.
