8 of the 12 ladies that took part in the 'Pretty Bald' alopecia awareness calendar discussed their experiences on ITV's Good Morning Britain with presenters Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins.
The 2015 calendar was organised by Victoria Short who was inspired to do her own alopecia awareness project following the success of Alopecia UK's flashmob in Liverpool last year.
All proceeds from the sales of the calendar goes to Alopecia UK, providing us with much needed funds to allow us to continue our work to provide information, support & advice to those affected by alopecia.
Calendars cost £10 each and can be purchased from www.prettybald.co.uk
Two of the models, twin sisters Gwennan Thomas and Elin Dobbs, also featured in a Daily Mail article this week. Their story is an interesting read as it describes the unusual experience of identical twins with alopecia, with one having the condition and the other keeping their hair. Read the article here.
Well done to everyone on their awareness efforts. We hope you will all consider making the 'Pretty Bald' calendar your choice for 2015.
