Young men and hair loss - an undergraduate study
A third year psychology undergraduate from Leeds Beckett University is looking for men aged between 18-32 who have experienced hair loss in the form of androgenetic alopecia (otherwise known as male pattern baldness) or alopecia areata (not AT or AU) to take part in an interview.
The interview will last approx. 30-60 minutes and will cover topics such as hair loss, body image and identity.
Taking part in this research will hope to enhance understanding of the ways in which hair loss affects body image and raise awareness of the influences of hair loss in young men.
The study has received ethical approval from the university and a copy of the participant information sheet can be found here.
Ideally the student is looking for men to interview within a one hour journey from Leeds.
