Changing Faces have designed three surveys in which endeavouring to find out about the current services that are available to provide psychological and social support for people who are living with a condition, injury or marking that affects their appearance.
- They are asking adults age 16 and over who live in the UK about their recent experience of support services, what has helped in the past and recommendations they have for the future.
- They are asking people who care for a child about provision of support for their child, and/or other members of their family.
- They are asking health professionals about their patients, how confident they are at dealing with appearance related issues and what they think about our future plans.
They really need your help to find out the views of people who are living with a condition, injury or marking that affects their appearance within the UK. It would be invaluable to our user group if you could participate. The more people they reach, the better the results and the more likely we are to deliver a service that meets user needs.
They are interested in both people who have used Changing Faces services before, and those who have not.
The surveys will also be available on their website at www.changingfaces.org.uk
If for some reason you feel you are unable to help, Changing Faces absolutely respects your decision, and we look forward to continuing to work together into the future.
